Good luck! A couple of things to note: I’d Like a hanger that can vary in thickness, not length, to accommodate just a shirt versus a sweater or heavy coat.

Not sure I’d want the hangers to connect, but a tab to keep them apart. On the other hand, sometimes you want to push everything to one side for a few minutes, like to put an outfit together.

I like the huggable hangers but the hanger part needs to swivel!

A swivel hook is a must-have for me. I don't like huggable hangers because my clothes get wrinkled on them. I like the idea of a hangar that adjusts for size as my partner's shoulders are much wider than mine and really need a wider hanger to accommodate them. I also like notches of some kind so sleeveless items don't slip off. @bpath's idea of a tab to keep the hangers separated rather than connected is smart, but I wouldn't want the tab to be very big because I want to be able to fit as many hangers as I can into the closet without wrinkling my clothing.
