Is the Shiitake the one on the right of the middle photo? I like that choice. I think it will look great with white baseboards and I like the flooring too. The one in the left of that same photo - too pink - I can't imagine that throughout a room.

I see a green sample in the other photo. I don't want to confuse you so close to your deadline, but what about something like Benjamin Moore Grey Wisp.(BM 1570) I find this to be a lovely neutral that plays well with many different colours. I think it would also look good with your floor choice.

The thing about paint is it is an easy change if you aren't happy with it. Good luck with it.

This may be too late, but I agree with mvcanada as well regarding the Shiitake color. Another alternative that is slightly less muddy but close in color is BM Urban Sophisticate CSP-160.

I agree with PPs suggestions. however, if it's too late: color always seems wrong when there's just a small amount on the wall and you can still see the old color surrounding it. (also, it's really hard to tell from pictures what you're seeing and/or feeling about this color in real life.) I can't tell you how many times I doubted while in the middle of a paint project, only to love it in the end. only ONE time did I go back and immediately buy a different color.

you can always experiment with different bulbs and dimmers. if this is a hangout space, I'd recommend getting other lighting and leave the cans for when you need the room to be ultra bright. eye-level lamps are so much better for relaxing.

You need a bigger area painted to get a truer idea of the color - at least 4 x 4 is whats recommended Best to get some kind of large panel you can move around in the room
