Why not something like a noguchi.

I do like the table, and might consider that for another room, however, the pictures are of our family room and people tend to put their feet up. One additional issue, I did not address, is the couch seats are high and my current coffee table is 20 inches high. I feel like going lower than 19 is difficult. Thank you for your idea!
