Windows Design Dilemma Exterior

Brick House Needs Makeover

What can I do to update the exterior of my very basic house? Ignore the landscaping, it’s about to get ripped up. Thinking of painting the door black and adding shutters for the windows, but not sure about shutters on the large arch windows. Any thoughts or new ideas?

Add pics to a comment not your original post . Houzz really needs to fix this for sure. You need to add a picture wait until it is not grayed then submit. I am finding it hard to add more than one picture too so it might take a couple of posts
