Do this sleeper sofa and tufted ottomans go together?

I am decorating a vacation rental in Arizona. I originally bought a loveseat for the master bedroom, but just swapped it out for a sleeper sofa in order to get 2 additional beds in the house for a higher nightly rate. I bought the sofa online from Joybird. I didn't realize the seat cushions were tufted. The first two pics are of the room with the loveseat. The third picture is of the new sleeper sofa. It's the only picture I have (my property manager took it and the lighting isn't the best). I haven't seen the sofa in person yet. My concern is the sleeper sofa with the ottomans too much tufting? Does it look too busy for a room with a modern/glam vibe? I still can return it, but wondering your thoughts on whether all this tufting clashes?

Honestly, neither of the sofas go well with those ottomans. It's not so much the tufting as it is the difference in fabrics and design, in my opinion. The ottomans have a more glam velvety finish, while both the love seat and sleeper sofa look more simple and utilitarian.
I love the ottomans though, and would be inclined to hunt for a more luxe-looking sleeper. Good luck!

Skip the tufts on ANY ottoman

Hi. You have to consider that a rental should appeal to the masses. How many people are going to be looking for "modern glam" in a rental. My guess is very few.

The good news is that, for the most part, your room does not scream "modern glam". So, you are on the right path.

One big exception are the ottomans. Those are the first things I see. Not only are they "over the top tufting", but I am imagine a cleaning nightmare.

Solution: simply remove the ottomans. This will make the room feel larger and they simply are not needed.

    Angle the skin rug.

If no location elsewhere, I would try at foot of bed. Lovely room.

IMO modern glam beats over the top Victorian hands down As for the ottomans put them at the foot of the bed they will be more practical there anyway. If the guessts want to put their feet up they can move them I would nix the “skin: rug altogether

I think the rug is part of what makes this space feel complete. I'd definitely keep it -- it's very appropriate for an Arizona home -- but angle it, as suggested above.

The new sofa really isn't much of a change. As extra sleeping for more people it would be better somewhere other than the master bedroom. I would try moving the ottomans to the end of the bed and move the rug in front of the sofa. What a beautiful rental

First, let me say that I love the tufted ottomans. It's hard to tell with the darker photo of the sleeper sofa, but it looks like the loveseat goes with the overall color scheme better than the sleeper does. However, neither sofa really goes with the ottomans because of the clashing fabrics (but the loveseat does match better because of the color). If you can find a more velvety sleeper, that would be a much better fit for the room's modern glam vibe and the ottomans.

Thank you all so much for your helpful comments. The ottomans are the same fabric as the bed, but with the heavier tufting. The fabric on the new sleeper sofa is more of a tweed, and color is similar to the dressers. The loveseat is an ivory color. We already have a sleeper sofa downstairs - I added the sleeper to the master at the recommendation of someone who is a vacation rental expert in the area. It would bring the total it could sleep from 12 to 14. Although, I agree I wouldn't want the kids with me in the master it would at least provide another sleeping option if we had a large group. I don't expect it will be used that often, though! :-) Here is a link to our listing in Scottsdale AZ.

It helps looking at these photo through a new set of eyes. I can see now where the ottomans look very heavy in that corner of the room and moving them to the end of the bed or another room altogether would help. Here's a better picture of the current sleeper sofa that replaced the loveseat:

I was looking at one of these sofas as an option to replace the current sleeper sofa. Do you think any of these sofas/fabrics are a better option in the room?

I would buy two inexpensive white fake fur rugs, throw them over the ottomans. It's nice to be able to sit down and rest in a bedroom, especially with soft furry rugs lol.

Thank you all for your helpful comments. I ended up moving the ottomans to the end of the bed and angling the cow hide rug in front of the sleeper. I also added some cowhide print pillows to the sleeper. I am happy with how it all turned out. Thanks for the suggestions!

Beautiful! Who would have thought turning a rug and moving an ottoman a few feet would give the room a wonderful, fresh new appearance!

Looks much better! A few tips:

    1) Tuck the bedding under the mattress. (If you cannot get this done on a regular basis, at least for the photos)

    2) Move the lumbar pillow to sit with one of the square pillows/not in the center

    3) With the sleeper sofa there now, the table is too large. I'd get a wall light and a small C-table. In the meantime, for photos, try to better hide the wires.

    3) Something not as easy....lower the tv so that the top of the tv lines up with the top of the window frames.

I realize these suggestions are getting a little picky and you should know that overall, your listing looks great.
