It seems fine. Undercabinet lighting will help. Get rid of the white outlet covers. You can find gray ones that will blend better. Lutron makes them that are also screwless for a clean look.

Hi, I would live with it for a bit. You'll probably will add some decoration on the counter and that can break it up. The tile is very nice and it looks like the installer did a good job.

Sometimes our initial reaction is because we had a vision in our head, but it doesn't mean we can't replace that vision.

I think it looks very nice, and seems to coordinate with the counter. You might consider switching the dark hardware out to brushed nickel to downplay the contrast, and replace to outlet covers, as Shannon_WI suggests.

The white of the cabinets should match the white in the counter material. Are your cabinets white or off-white? Is your counter white or off-white?

I strongly, but respectfully, disagree with that statement. Some of the most elegant kitchens have creamy- to buttery-white cabinets with cool tops.

Our kitchen does the same as yours - though we DO have warm lighting - which I wanted, it photographs far warmer/yellower than it looks in person. With my cell phone or my auto/manual pentax. Sometimes a lighting change is needed but other times it's the camera or time of day or whether or not it's overcast, etc.

I do agree with Shannon and the outlets, and it's such a small, easy change : )

I think it looks great. You need outlets that blend as folks mentioned above. Start putting your stuff on the countertop and it’ll be fine. The newness of it may be throwing you off. ANd your light bulbs need to be whiter. It’s lovely.

I think it looks great too. New stuff sometimes doesn't look the way you envisioned it in your head - but that doesn't mean it looks bad.

why would you want one more shade of white? the tile looks fine. good advice about the gray outlets.

maybe switch your light bulbs for something less yellow? look for something in the 3500-4000K range.

I like it - Reserve judgement until you get some things on your counter and your kitchen is all set up. I think you'll be happy.

Gorgeous! Don’t talk yourself In to unhappy! Very on trend and looks pretty perfect to me. If that is the only pale grey in the room at this point, contrast will be very high. As you add more tints of a Grey design the contrast will go down and be much more subtle. Maybe grey outlets, Levitron I think makes outlets in a zillion colors. Lighting can have some Pewter finishes, fabric with a touch of grey, rugs, plant pots in cement or zinc, colored pottery in the glass cabinets! And if you are going with warm metals it will look even better!
Try looking at Houzz kitchens with grey backsplash and see the finishes. Will be stunning as it is pretty nice now!

I think it looks great! Live with it for a bit, change the lighting in your space and perhaps add some undercounter lighting. I have no idea what your kitchen looked like before, but this is probably a change and it sounds like it's not what you initially had in mind... so it will take some getting used to. But I do really like the gray and I think it's better than white.

Looks lovely. Just decorate those cabinets with glass doors to make them something

pleasant to look at. Is there lighting in there???

Once you get done everything and the kitchen becomes a cluttered space, you won't notice things that are bothering you now. You can try as well to get a LED stripes in warm white, stick them to the bottom of the upper cabinets and magically the grey will become part of all.
