Window Covering for 13 foot NanaWall

We have a NanaWall on our main floor and I'm trying to figure out what kind of window covering to use. The opening is about 13 feet wide. That part of the house has a southern exposure so I think we're going to need to have something to block light at some times during the day. I think I need either roller shades or something vertical that stacks to one side. I looked at the Norman Smart Sheer drapes, but they are not wide enough. I'm also considering panel track, but there is not much room to stack them and there's a light switch on the wall where they would stack.

    First, you need photos.

The house is under construction, but this photo gives some sense of the space. The window to the left of the NanaWall is the kitchen and the cabinet will come right up to the edge.

Get a Hunter Douglas consult locally. Roller screen shades, or any one of many TOP mounted options.

Your best bet may have been to consider a retractable awning outdoors, climate depending. That would solve the problem, but the header above the window needs to consider what may be used. Adress it now, if that option would eliminate the need for cover.

You could do solar shades you have lots of head room for the valance to make them look better they will allow the view and give privacy during the day and then just add drapes if you need nightime privacy

This is a bit outside of the box, but have you considered a pergola and address the light via the exterior?

I’d do top mount solar shades. You can choose the opacity and color. We don’t have a nana wall, but we do have about 16 feet of floor to ceiling fixed windows and a sliding door on one side. We broke it up into 3 panels: two of even length and one shorter panel over the slider opening so we could have all down but still exit to the yard. They added trim to the top to conceal the mounting bracket. Multiple panels also solved our problem of possible sagging from one or two long runs of shades.

Hi Lynne, what did you ended up putting for your Nanawall. I have same situation and don't know what shades to put.

We got electronic roller shades (Graber) and they look great. Very happy with them. The wifi features aren't as flawless as I imagine Lutron shades are, but they're significantly cheaper.

Thank you for giving that information. One more question did you get wall panel shades or outside the glass wall divided into different parts?

Our NanaWall opens outward, so we have two shades inside. I'm attaching a photo for a visual.
