I would start with the coffee table, it looks light and wimpy next to your heavy, strong, looking sofa. Honestly the rug looks a little short for the space.

I think turning your rug in the opposite direction will look a bit better. Then change out your table for a round, heavier one . It will balance your couch. Add a throw and a few pillows to add softness and texture and you are good to go. Please show pics of your finished layout.
