have you thought about restoring your cedar shades and fencing to a darker, natural cedar stain color? Like this tone

. would look so much better than painting them. Then you could redo the stucco or siding color

I used the bottom three on my own home. I did the dark charcoal on the trim, white on the stucco, and the lighter gray on the fascia. I have a charcoal tile roof.

redone cedar shakes/shingles in this cedar tone, then you could do a gray stucco w/either the black or the white trim. since you have white windows, do some black trim around them.

you have plans on replacing any of those windows? maybe the top front one?

dang,,,that's pretty. (although I'd still like some of the cedar shake somewhere w/that blue) or, if leaving the house all blue, maybe the cedar for the porch fence or a wood door, and the porch ceiling in the cedar color beadboard.

Beth! I think it is shingles. I tried to play with cedar...Ohhhhhhhh boy! House is craftsman style, and yes it is good as is.

So i just show you different mocking ups to see that we do not have to go modern
