We bought an old house with an odd kitchen design. There are 2 big windows on the main wall and a narrow counter in front of them. We want to widen the counter to 24" straight across and still expose the windows. The drawings below show the current design. We are able to move the sink over slightly, so that's fine. Our problem is the stove on the left. We can't move it over because it's next to a doorway. What can we do to maximize the width of the counter without blocking off the front of the stove? Ideas please.
