I want to replace the shutters around my windows with molding on a house with wooden siding. Is this doable?

I’ll take one tomorrow in the day light. We need to have our house repainted this spring, so I’m also interested in suggestions for house colors too.

Pictures taken today in daylight🌞I need help picking house colors. The roof is dark grey with a little green. There are decks in the back that are medium neutral grey. I would also like advise on how to install molding around the windows in front on the existing wooden siding to replace the shutters?
