Need help trying to figure out a grout color for new remodel and I have basically today to figure it out. We thought we had a correct color picked but when we saw it on a tile we cringed and our installer agreed that it wasn't correct. Wife says that all the colors shown here look "dirty" or has the wrong hue and more on the brown side, even though our tile has browns in it. I can't win. Personally I don't like the white because I want to see the grout lines with our 4x12 tiles. If I didn't want to see that pattern, I would have chosen a large format tile. I think a contrasting color would go well.

Tried the following:

Mapei Warm Gray - Looks too warm, wants something on the cooler side.

Mapei Frost - Looks dirty

Mapei White - No contrast

Tec PowerGrout Silverado - Did another batch, waiting to dry.

Tec PowerGrout Sterling - Looks dirty

Tec PowerGrout Standard White - Looks dirty
