Hi Maria. What is the distance between the edge of the window and the TV wall? And then the distance between other window edge and the half wall? How big is the opening to the kitchen and length of wall space from there to the TV wall?

Knowing those dimensions will help everyone here with suggestions.

Side note: I think you have made a wise choice on the style of the sectional, a big overstuffed set would crowd your room!

@misecretary The long wall, from the closet to the TV wall, consists of a 4-ft section, the window (8.5 ft including molding), and a 7-ft section (even though it's labeled 6 ft in the sketch).

The wall North of the opening to the kitchen is 8 ft, as labeled. The opening itself is a little under 7 ft.

your sectional choices are spot on. As I look at your mock-up, more than half of the room is devoted to the dining area. I think the sectional should be placed at the 2/3 or 1/2 way part of the room. That is when I would figure out which table to buy--round or rectangle because you will spend way more time in the living room area than in the dining area.

The first sectional is 100” x100” not 7.5’ your room is only 120” wide so no to that one the orange one would be better but it depends on how you place it and IMO no better than an actual sofa for seating 2 people can’t fit on the chaise .Samr for the last one. Look at sofas instead, get that then see how much space you have you could maybe add a chair or depending on the sofa maybe 2 small chairs . Your dining table needs a min of 36” for the table and 24” all the way around for chairs so that is 7’ x 10’ That will pretty much fill your space . The easiest way to try out pieces is to cut them out of cardboard to scale and play with them in the space when you place measure the walk space then try that out in real life on your floor. IMO you need 36” walk spaces . Use graph paper for the main to scale floor plan it makes it easier to figure walk space.
