Thanks Nelly. I am too. But I'm wondering what others thinks too. And whether or not it will look okay if I go with champagne and then stainless faucets and appliances.

I will be the third. I think I prefer the champagne, though in all honesty they both look great.

I will also offer that stainless faucet and appliances will be fine with the champagne. Have to ask, is that the counter top that is on the white cabinet? I too am getting Plato - just got my samples last night.

Champagne out of those two. Have you tried chrome or black against it?

itsourcasa I don't like shiny things like chrome and I want to stay with a more subdued metal. Thanks.

salonva the lighter cabinet is Plato Oatmeal. The darker one is Plato Coastal Gray. Both are maple. The quartz is Pental Akoya.

I also prefer the champagne gold. It goes really well with the wood finish in the first photo.

Actually I am so glad you mentioned color. I ordered white dove and mocha cherry. I got the samples last night. I honestly thought the white looked whiter but then I thought it was the night time lighting and didn't really think about it. When I saw you said yours was oatmeal I looked at it and saw the white dove also which is definitely creamier. Turns out the sample I got is actually essential white (WAY more white like a bright light. I thought maybe I had lost my mind but I knew I had really liked it when I was selecting!!!). Phew. So I really did order white dove, which is a bit whiter than oatmeal but definitely not a bright white. Sorry to derail this. But thank you!!!

Another vote for Champagne. Have you tried black? I read that you don't like shiny finishes. I love the champagne with the white, I like it with the stained wood. I prefer it over the nickel with both cabs.

i am leaning towards the champagne gold for sure! I think it would add a nice little pop of color!

Akoya has a fair amount of warmth. Champagne would be beautiful. I have akoya countertops and LOVE them
