I agree with the above...time to get yourself a job out in the field in home construction. No better way to learn every aspect than doing the work hands on. Experience is one of the best teachers.

I know nothing about Life Earned Goals but it will take you some time to get above the level of laborer on a construction site so you need to be studying as well.

You can learn a lot from the internet but the sources are not all reliable since many are sponsored by manufacturers with an understandable bias. So buy books regarding house construction. I have more than 30 of them and many more regarding design and codes.

My library is now about 150 books. Some books are out of date now but are still useful for renovations.

Get your shift/caps lock key fixed so people will take you more seriously.

Hard to beat working in the field to get a real feel for what the work is really like and whether you have a passion for it both on the great days and when the weather gets really lousy.

With some experience there may well be benefit to adding some formal education. That's hard because so many commercial trade schools are shams, but there are good ones. Talk to people who are successfully doing what you want to do. A lot of them will have grown up in the business, but some will have found paths in from the outside.

When you want to work for yourself some formal training in the basics of business and accounting will be invaluable.

Since the guy is from Colorado I'm guessing the previous post was for a different forum or its spam.

You can choose the profession of a builder. This is very interesting, I myself have been working as a builder for many years. I don't regret anything.

Well, as I said above, you can choose the profession of a builder or an engineer. As I understand from your message, you have some aptitude for this and talent. In addition, you dream of doing this. To do this professionally, you need to complete training and get a diploma confirming your qualifications. Here becomeopedia.com, you can learn more about this specialty. There is all the information about salaries, employment and much more. Also, you can get help in choosing a school where you will probably be trained on this site. I wish you success and success in achieving your goal.

Joey, incredible that you would criticize someone's writing.

I think Joe C's capitalization was on purpose to illustrate a point.

If the guy can’t get a job in construction these days, he isn’t even trying. If he is too good to broom clean a job site, then he needs to stick to video game play world.
