Master Bath Remodel

We are completely gutting our bathroom and removing the garden tub and replacing it with a walk in shower. The existing shower will become a much needed closet. If we take the whole footprint of the tub surround for the shower it will measure approx 48" x 70". If we use enough of the space to give us the widest closet door opening, the shower will measure approx 38" x 70". Is 48" x 70" too large? Is bigger better? The vanity will also be removed and will be replaced with custom cabinets and sinks. The tile floor will go, replacing it with CORETec Plus Waterproof Vinyl Flooring.

1. What size shower should I go with? Should the frameless glass shower walls go all the way to the ceiling?

2. Should I replace the mirrors?

3. What colors would be good for a beachy farmhouse feel for both cabinets, shower tile and walls.

Thanks for input, any and all advice and comments are appreciated.
