Which room would this artwork look best in?

Trying to bring two rooms together - this may work. It is 2.5 ft high by 5 ft wide - not sure where to use it best and how to accessorize. If I place in the dining room it would bring some caramel and red into the dining room. I could also use it to bring some green into the living room. Please IGNORE the area rug in the living room - I took it out - need to snap some new pictures.

Also, considering this one - but it is only 2ftx2ft - so maybe on the wall where the console table is in the living room? I will be putting the sideboard from the dining room where the console table is now. It is 56 inches long

Dining room. It doesn’t blend well with what you have in the living room. Great colors!

apple_pie_order I like the colors and the style in both of the canvases. I like the more modern one because of the colors, I like the 2nd one because of the subject matter. I probably should not put them both in the same room. If I leave the buffet in the dining room, putting the mirror over it is a good idea. BeverlyFLADeziner THANK YOU for the visual - really like the lighting you added. With the mirror over the buffet the room will look more balanced - but my floor looks so bare - any suggestions? According to advice on here I should have at least 8 by 10 so that table and chairs sit on rug properly. The whole room is only 13 by 10 and the rug may cover too much of the floor. Could you please suggest some suitable patterned curtains for the dining room?

Can you get a second one and hang them above the sofa, side by side, just rotate/ flip them? Although this is a series of two below, the effect would be similar. Or..... Make your own wall art to suit your colors https://www.houzz.com/discussions/177769/2-identical-prints-hung-differently
Marry the seating with the painting with colored throw pillows

It's TWINS! In this case small patterned pillows repeat the colors of the larger scale wall art.

Yes, the art you love can look good with the two-seat sofa, all you have to do is choose a tone from the painting and get two pillows that match the color, that starts the eye to wander plus it goes well with your rug. I think the couch would look cozier if it was placed on the first five inches of the rug and united into a grouping.

Yayagal that area rug has been in every room in our home and is now in the family room, not the living room - but I know the colors in it are great, just not that crazy about it personally anymore- my husband loves it. DK Haas I am searching for a 2nd one just like it - it's from World Market (Momentary II by Leila) and is a few years old - it pops up on FB Marketplace every once in a while but not in my area. My problem is the sofa (which I am now realizing is kinda small) looks like an orphan and the space around the artwork looks so empty and I need to make it work somehow until/if I can get the other one. Just took another look at some lamps and green pillows you and everdebz have suggested in other threads, and a blue throw for the couch.
