How do you pick coffee and end tables?

I need help. Do I match the coffee and end tables with the floor? Pull out the dark mahogany from it? Or go with lighter oak or similar? We were thinking a round coffee table for balance. How do I go about finding un-matching end tables? Please provide suggestions and advice!

Would something like the one attached work? So many options and don’t know where to go.

I think the one you’re asking about might be too small? I can’t tell.

These styles below would look nice in there and are a similar color to your floors. They’d also look fine with the furniture in the other room.

Your rug is a nice buffer between everything, so I wouldn’t worry about the wood tones much.

Before those you need a cabinet below the TV and the TV needs to be lower. The problem is you would need a huge coffee table to serve those sofas . I never do all matching tables it is just boring. I would look for nesting coffee tables I use an arc lamp in a space between two sofas the base works to hold a drink and then look for 2 end tables that match each other maybe with the same base metal as the coffee table..

For the record, “David” works for Barcelona Designs and that’s a stock photo of some guy in the profile picture. In other words, he’s on these boards to sell products.

Just saying I liked David's Yves ideas. I also think it would bring this room up to a new level. It doesn't bother me he's trying to push a sale. A lot of the designers on Houzz are trying to pick up work as well.
