Do you mean the list of the various garden forums? Click of the left side of the page "explore topics".

It's all screwed up. I complained to Houzz several days ago when it started for me. Contact Houzz and let them know their software guys have really messed it up this time. I have to go through the most complicated stuff just to find forums.

This forum has continually become of less value for gardening topics activity. This totally screwed up update is a why. It is like they are intentionally trying to run people off. I know it is time to take GardenWeb off my list. Hope to see you all and share your knowledge somewhere else.

You have to be in Houzz to see the topics. If your address bar says gardenweb.com it doesn't work.

This is what they claim:

"The GardenWeb topics centered around home and garden are now available through Houzz. Topics that are not related to home and garden are still available on GardenWeb."

But if you follow that link OR type gardenweb.com into your URL bar, it just takes you to Houzz. So that quote may have been true during the transition, but it appears that the old Gardenweb is now defunct. RIP.

Carol, what are you missing? It is there, you just need to follow the forum you want. ALL of the forums I follow are STILL active and there. I can post the link to anything you want.

ETA: If it is "Hot Topics", it is there, but I DO NOT follow it! I also quit following "Kitchen Table" because of all the arguing. I would not want either on my web site, but they have kept them, just not as easy to find.

I can find anything you want.

ETA2: We do not pay anything for these forums, so we should learn how to use them. If you have a problem, here is the link to contact them. It will take some time and you will probably NOT get a personal reply.

GardenWeb is not defunct at a!! If I type "gardenweb,com" into Google it takes me directly to GardenWeb. If I type in "houzz.com", it takes me directly to Houzz. Since I never sign out of the website, I rarely ever need to access from Google but rather from a desktop icon. And that also takes me directly to GardenWeb.

As stated previously, I also have 'followed' all the forums that interest me so anything posted to any of them will show up on my "My Topics" page. And if I click on the edit button at the top right of my list of followed or preferred forums, it will display a complete list of ALL GardenWeb forums, followed by the complete list of ALL Home forums, followed by the complete list of all the Nature forums.

The only familiar GW forum I don't see listed in one of the categories above is Hot Topics but I have no interest in that forum at all!

If they were to close anything down, it should be Hot Topics,. It has no place on a gardening and decor web site.
