Where did you get your earth angel rose

I ordered earth angel from fresh garden living to receive this spring, now i see that they dont offer it anymore. Im wondering if i will indeed receive my rose or something else labeled earth angel. Has anyone else purchased earth angel from this vender?

I am fairly sure you'll receive it. They change availability so someone ordering NOW won't order a rose that's no longer available. They may re-offer it in the future after cuttings take. FreedomGardens and ARE do this as well and it helps avoid confusion. I'm sure others also note items as OOS or unavailable at this time. However, as in the case of ARE's Ghislaine de Feligonde and Phyllis Bide, it can presage a rose being discontinued up the road. Why don't you contact FGL and ask?

I did send an email to see if they were still offering it, but no reply. Im sure im just being a nervous ninny but im tempted to order another one else where just in case.🤣

Did you find that this year, Kristine?

I saw it at HD yesterday and i went to get a cart. By the time i came back in less than a min, someone else picked it up. It was the only one. Oh, well, next time ....

Thanks for the replies everyone, my home depot hasn't even began bringing in plants yet guess I'll have to be patient.

I got mine from Palatine roses and theirs are always nice big grafted bareroots, in case you need more.

I’ve not purchased Earth Angel from them, but probably 5-6 other roses. They are nice healthy little bands that grow quickly when potted up. They’ve been true to name, too. I’d be surprised if you didn’t get an EA.

Her supply waxes and wanes, and I imagine that’s a popular one, that’s just sold out for the moment.

    Keep us posted! :-)

Hi Dianela, the Austin code is is UKG. My post is not showing up on your thread. Diane

Hmmm. I think my code on an email I received was UKF.

UKF is for yourself. UKG is for a friend. Diane

Thank you very much Diane and Vapor. I left my cart loaded lol =). I am going to try and see if I can get the discount on this order. I missed the chance on my previous ones because they were made before the catalogs arrived.

edit: I have successfully used the UKG code :). I am very excited and grateful. Thank you both! I have my Olivias coming for a hedge. I am loving this rose here with her extreme blackspot resistance.

Thank Diane. You'd think F would be for a friend! LOL!

Perma, thanks for the encouraging news. I did purchase two climbers from them last year both healthy but neither has bloomed yet, probably due to the small size and fact that climbers take a bit.

Now i think i might need to look at some Austin's, what a great tip

Can I request a preferred shipping date from David austin roses? Or do they stick to their shipping calander,i have never ordered from them before.

very positive experience from fresh garden living, small bands that just seem to take off once you plant them. I have yet to loose a single one from them out of 15 that I ordered so far. And they have all performed well and very healthy plants.

Dirt Digger the David Austin people can work with different dates as long as the date you need is within the temperature range they allow for your zone. They have very good costumer service.

Moses, I’m getting my first roses from the new owners at Chamblees this month. Can’t wait to see how the roses look. I hope they are doing well enough as a business to expand their offerings next season!

Dianela, a hedge of Olivia, swoon. That is going to be fabulous! I can't wait to see your pictures of that one.
