Navajo Thornless Blackberry prune time

I have Navajo Thornless Blackberries in Western Oklahoma. I have already cut the dead canes. When is the best time to prune the live canes? Early March?

I am not sure what the best time in your area would be. Here in southcentral OK, it would be February though, so I think that March would be good for you out in western OK. Did you tip prune those newer canes last summer?

I'm going to link some info for you from OSU about growing blackberries commercially because I like the pruning info it contains.

Thank you Okiedawn for the OSU fact sheet. I did not tip prune those new canes last summer. I will need to cut the canes back to 12-15 inches now.
