Anyone Have a washer they love? Maytag MVWP575G? SQ FF7005WN?

My washer just died. It was an LG front loader. Never liked it, leaves bleach spots on loads done a week later. But in consumer reports LG washers are top rated. So hence current dilemma.

I'd also like to move the washer upstairs to the spare bedroom and create a Laundry/sewing room. Probably would like to put both washer and dryer under a countertop for a streamlined look, but would not sacrifice quality wash to get that. Happy to look at top loader if it does the job.

Cleaning power, Capacity, Noise, Price, aesthetics are the major factors . Would love to wash a queen size comforter.

Willing to spend a thousand plus, but not 7,000.

I honestly don't care about water or electrical efficiency if it sacrifices the ability to wash the damn clothes.

Husband is concerned about noise.

Design ideas welcome as well.

I use Henkels German Laundry detergent beads.

I wouldn't go by anything CR says. And this isn't something new. They've been called out on SO many of their claims over the years. I'm afraid that's why so many have LGs...Consumer Reports lists them as one of top rated :(

I'm sure it's not the "best" washing machine out there, but I'm extremely happy with my GE 5 cu ft, agitator top load (with wifi). Yeah, I didn't think I would use wifi that much either but I do. It's quiet. It's extra large, it has extra deep water levels...I like a lot of water too. One time I tricked the washer into thinking there were more clothes in it than there really was by adding a pot full of water to the wash BEFORE turning it on. So it dispensed even more water. It also has a "water station" that can dispense just plain water or water and detergent for hand washing or pretreating. It meets our needs. I'm happy with it...BUT I don't use it with the intended water functionality. I have the large capcity Maytag front loader. It is about 6 years old. It works great, uses very little water and cleans beautifully without destroying the clothes. The down side is it is noisy when on the spin cycle; it sounds like a jet taking off. We shut the laundry room door. Oh and don't leave anything on the top of the washer, it will get vibrated off. Cleaning an entire jug of spilled laundry detergent off a tile floor is not fun.
