Many homeowners have cut corners and installed pavers this way. It doesn't take long for it to show as the paver surface becomes lumpy and wavy.

If you're trying to avoid digging and/or bringing in the gravel, look into a product called Gator Base. I haven't used it personally but it's becoming more popular, especially in situations where it's impractical to move a lot of material in and out (townhomes, etc)

Thanks to both for comments and I figured it cant be done but I’m lazy so looking for easy way out😌. ..I have seen the board base things at Lowe’s ill look into it looks a lot easier than using rock base.
