Having the same problem here in Florida.... we went from mild winter to brutal summer overnight ..... so I put out a couple of chairs and made them some makeshift shade.... they seemed to perk up.

So sorry to hear they're wilty. Only thing that might help is to rig up some kind of shade cloth for them maybe?

Are these your established roses? Only some of my bare-roots seem to be wilting, most likely due to insufficient root development. The others were ok in their 1st day of TX summer.

My established were fine except for some that shot up way beyond normal March growth. All this rain without the heat was like giving steroids

They will perk up again. Texas is grand. I love seeing people's gardens every time I visit my family in Bastrop. Beautiful beautiful Texas.

They seem to have adjusted to the warmer days. Now, if I can keep the baby rabbits from eating those new tender leaves and baby rose buds I will be golden. Any advice on getting rid of rabbits? I live in town so no bang bang .... not that I could do that anyway. At least one is living under my deck and comes out at night and feast on my garden. Cute but destructive little suckers.
