Adding Curb Appeal

Help! We are looking to add curb appeal to a boring one story stucco house. Front door faces side of house, garage has been converted to master bedroom. We bought it recently and want to update it by either (1) turning it Spanish-revival (to go with the stucco theme, adding white/tan paint) or (2) painting it a darker color (dark slate color and keep white trim?). The issue with Spanish-revival plan is that our roof is new and in really good condition and we don't want to add a tile roof.

We want to add a wall (waist height?) to the front yard to enclose a garden and seating area and re-do the driveway, maybe add french doors to the 'garage' room facing the front.

Please help! Any paint color suggestions, ideas to add architectural features (very flat faced house), decks, etc. The pictures with the blue shutters are current, except we removed the pepper tree and the rocks from the front yard (not up to fire code). Added photos of before the shutters were added - I am not 100% on keeping them yet. We get full sunlight on the front yard all day.

Thank you!
