My Kohler engine on my badboy magnum MZ has oil in the carburetor and will not start. What is the likely problem

Which engine you have would be helpful. If the engine oil level is overfilled or fuel is entering the crankcase and raising the oil level, the breather could be expelling so much oil vapor into the airbox you get the residue. Or if the crankcase is pressurized IE due to a failing headgasket as well.

Yeah as Tom advised either over fill situation or inadvertent tipping of mower . Otherwise mechanical issues could cause excessive crankcase pressure and oil carry over to cause oil combustion issues .
