Don't forget to rabbit rabbit ... tomorrow's April 1

If the first words out of your mouth on the first day of the month are "rabbit rabbit" you'll have good luck all month long. Any time after midnight is fine, and no need to say it to anyone.

Good luck everyone!

Of course I always wondered if on April Fool's day one should say tibbar tibbar instead...

Dang. I think I may be responsible for all this craziness. I forgot to rabbit, rabbit on March 1st.

Thanks for the reminder, Annie! I am a logical scientist, but can quite happily set that aside for the occasional superstitious belief.

    Thanks for the reminder.

I'm done with Rabbit, Rabbit. I've been doing it consistently and look where we are now. 😕

LOL Terriks I was going to post the same thing.

I don't know if there is any published research on its efficacy, but, sorry to say Annie, I am having my doubts about this approach.

Well as I always say, you don't know where we'd be now if we *hadn't* said rabbit rabbit...

The one time I said it, my beloved dog died two days later. Normally the first thing I do every day is baby-talk my dogs. I’m sticking to that!

My DD says “ Mom! you didn’t say I had to do it every month! “ uh I told her on New Years Eve lol. Now she and her babies are here safe with us and she will Rabbit Rabbit every month with us. Thank you Annie ( trailrunner here)

How the heck did we all get started with this silly superstitious thing?

I'm definitely in for rabbit rabbit. I enjoy the camaraderie of doing it with my family and others.

I remembered! And I said it about eleventeen times, just in case.😆

    Nailed it!

Sleep was scarce last night so I said it after midnight...didn't seem to bring me much luck with getting sleep though. DH remembered this morning when he woke. Let's hope it brings us all luck with avoiding this @#%#!!$ virus!

    Oy the irony!

Done. Thanks again for the reminder and the fun.

Omg, it's just a bit of fun. Lighten up.

    OMG. Clueless.

In other news, TRAILRUNNER IS here!!! Welcome back! Post some pics of your lovely breads!

Did it!!! I think we all need all the good luck we can find during the next 30 days at least!

Trailrunners purple patio furniture! Yeah! Would love your Rye bread recipe. I have Rye flour to use up.....

I remembered for the first time ever! But it was when I woke up at 2:00am. I figured we need all the help we can get.

I keep forgetting to do this. And although I am quarantined alone (except for the cats and the chickens) I do have a habit of talking to myself.

And THIS one would have been so good to have done "rabbit rabbit" for!

I said it just after midnight. Had to go to the mini-Target to pick up an Rx. Cruised through the grocery section just for grins. Lo and behold, they had active dry yeast, which I haven't been able to find anywhere. I'll count that as a win for rabbit rabbit!

    🐰🐰👍Done!

I remembered this morning. I'm not especially superstitious, but it can't hurt so why not ;0)

Hey Nicole... I still have the purple patio furniture but it seriously needs your magic touch! Sandblasting and repainting. I’m still making bread... mountain here is a picture of a Pullman loaf. I‘ve been perfecting it recently. We have had our 28 month old and 6 month old grands for almost 3 weeks our daughter was finally able to come here to VA yesterday and will stay till this “ all” over. Good to “ see” everyone.

Trailrunner! Nice to "see" you again. Do go change your username though as there's no way I'll be able to distinguish from the other HU-xxxx's who haunt these threads.

Hey....I am glad to be able to check in. It's been a busy and unusual couple of years. I can't use my old Trailrunner so let's see what comes up when I post this.

I’m seeing you as Trailrunner D now!

Trail! What a lovely surprise! You owe us stories. And bread recipes since we ALL have time to bake now!

Annie, how are you doing? I've gotten a lot of good input from you in prior threads about mindful meditation, seasonal depression, etc. I hope your good acts are coming around to serve you in this uncertain time. Take care.

How sweet, Feathers! Yes I'm hanging tough...with the weather improving, I've been doing a lot of outside meditations which are very healing. Thank you for asking, and I hope you are doing well too!
