What is the dishwasher model number and part number that's needed?

Bosch 800 series. Top silverware tray. You can't go wrong.

Bosch 800...cleans really well, and is ever so quiet. Even my DH loves that machine!

My dishwasher is a G590 SC-U. I realize it is old. The part is called the 'control' it's mechanical. I don't know a part number, I just know it is no longer made.

I think we need to buy a new one. I'd like a quiet one. This Miele has not given us any trouble before this, but I've seen poor reviews of Miele lately. So hoping someone has a recent model that they think is good.

Yeah -25 years - not bad at all! Very happy with my Miele. My washer and dryer are Miele, too.

Can anyone suggest a current dishwasher model that they are happy with?

I have been looking at AJMadison - real nice website. Some are discontinued, very few have reviews.

Not buying the $5400 one!

the 4xxx series is an older designed machine made for a price point. That doesn't mean poor results, but limited programs

the 6xxx series is what I have and I like it. Quiet with great cleaning. The feature I like is the Sanitize setting so when I cut up chicken I know that they cutting boards are actually clean. I use Quick Intense often when we are cooking (someday again) for a crowd to move the prep dishes through. It also has auto open at the end which helps with plastic drying - a lot

Looking at the. Miele site, there is a $200 rebate on certain models. Take a look and see how it fits into your desired models

Thanks Delray - which 6 series model do you have? I read somewhere that a 7 series came out, but can't find any. I see the rebate on Miele - have never bought directly from them. I would be concerned with how the delivery would be handled. I was thinking of buying from AJMadison or Ferguson. Any advice is appreciated!

G6745 SCU, it is about 2 years old. The closest now appears to be the 6625, although that doesn't have some extra programs that I never really use.

I don't think that you buy from Miele. You probably buy from Fergusons etc and then Miele rebates the $200 back. Call or e mail Miele
