Oh thank you so much, that is reassuring. I live in Scotland so temps of 80degrees highly unlikely! But I will check his soil a bit more frequently over the summer months. No outside space unfortunately. How exciting he is having babies! I definitely will need a bigger pot. Thank you for your help.

They should do well for you as long as you don't over water.
