faucet brand w/ a finish matching Kingston brass brushed brass?

I fell in love with a particular bathroom faucet by Kingston brass. the finish is brushed brass. i am now having a difficult time finding shower components to match. Kingston brass doesn’t seem to make any of their shower components in brushed brass. I need a ceiling rainhead and a handheld to match Kingston’s brushed brass.

i know i can mix metals. I do it in kitchens all of the time, but the brushed brass will be really really pretty with this particular subway tile color.

Oh and waterworks doesn’t fit in my budget

We had a similar situation with what was called "champagne bronze," basically a gold, brass color, bathroom faucets that were pre-existing, and we couldn't find any shower fixtures to match when we remodeled. We went with what were called "oil-rubbed bronze" and "Mediterranean bronze" shower fixtures in a mix of Moen and Delta brands. That particular finish usually has bronze-colored highlights "rubbed" out of the darker surrounding material, so you get those flecks of goldish, brass color that you are seeking. That would be one solution to blend and mix two finishes together in the same space.

    Start over With California Faucet.

You won't find more finishes anywhere...................

California Faucets currently isn't manufacturing anything. Plus you should check the standard lead times for its products before ordering anything.

i can’t make appts at any plumbing or flooring showrooms because of the virus. So everything is held up. i might just go with Kingston brass brushed brass sink faucets and Kingston polished brass shower components. I’m not afraid to mix metals, but I’m not sure how i feel about polished brass fuxtures. It was just a decade or so ago we were all changing polished brass fixtures out for nickel.

this is pretty though, right? It‘s polished. I could make this decision in a heartbeat if i was in the showroom. some things are just too hard to decide online

@JAN MOYER what are the california faucet prices like? Newport brass has a gazillion colors too. But like California, I‘m not familiar with the prices. I usually use Kohler, but I just fell in love with the lines of this Kingston faucet. (They don‘t show it in brushed brass on the Website, but they are making it.)

Yes, we are ALL in the same boat whether for our own home, or that of a client. You either take your chances, or fall out of love with that faucet. Or wait forever for a finished bath. If you're hung up on the style, the "match" and the price? You know the answer, and something has to give or you pay up. No matter how great it looks? I think the burnished brasses are best reserved for kitchens and POWDER rooms, for just the scenario you have. Or you do the brass as accent only in the bath, and combine with matte black.

The fittings in a bath, largely because of tub and shower, diverter valves, sprays etc, are harder to change up the road. Which well explains "forever" chrome. : ) Or you don't get concerned with all being identical tones.......as the powder room below . Lights, mirror, sink base....faucet, CEILING. Yeah, drove myself insane lol. At least ten trips to the bath supply and drove them nuts too.....

trying to decide the same! anyone know how the kingston brushed brass looks with brizo luxe gold? I've been able to see the brizo in person but Kingston brushed brass I can only find online

@Nataliya Vakulenko I am not familiar with Kingston Brushed Brass, but I do know that California Faucets produces a wide array of finishes on many different products. You might check them out too. California Faucets has a wide array of distributors in the USA, so you would probably be able to compare the finishes in person if you wanted. Ferguson carries both Brizo and California Faucet lines I believe, so you should be able to see those gold finishes in person in one store there. As I mentioned above, I have used Delta's champagne bronze which is actually a gold color, and their Cassidy collection has all the fittings you'd need for a bathroom sink and shower.

hello! having this same problem right now. was anyone able to find a matching shower system for Kingston brass sink faucets in brushed brass?

Did you check with California Faucets?

Glad I found this thread can’t afford water works but want an aged brass finish on bathroom. I have a clawfoot tub too so finding fixtures that have matching sets has been a real pain!

Has anyone looked into or have experience with the customer service for Kingston Brass? I was looking at a bunch of their fixtures but then became concerned about this. How important is this in selecting fixtures?

I'm in the same boat trying to mix Kingston brass with Brizo luxe gold. Anyone ended up doing this?

Thank you! Yes Delta's champagne bronze is very close to Brizos Luxe gold. Ending up ordering the Kingston Brass tub filler and a brizo luxe gold shower and sink faucets. I really hope it all matches. I could not justify paying Brizo's prices for their tub filler.

@shar Gandhi, how did it all work out? On the hunt for a toilet lever to complement the Kingston brushed brass in my powder room

This feed still does not seem to have an answer to the question. Purchasing a Kingston brass brushed brass console and am trying so hard to figure out what other brand matches this finish. I ordered towel bar etc in brushed brass so I would essentially have a sample bug someone above mentioned delta champagne bronze would match. Delta champagne bronze would definitely not match the towel bar in Kingston brass brushed brass that I received (it is more of a yellow gold). Does anyone have a Kingston brass brushed brass “anything” installed that you could send a picture of?! Thanks

Kingston is slightly warmer than Delta’s champage gold. The faucet and stopper are Kingson, the disposal switch is Delta i can see it but no one else can. Once it was set in the granite, it’s fine for me (& usually this stuff makes me crazy!) !

This idea may appeal to only a few people, but I got around the lack of coordinating finishes by doing both gold and oil-rubbed bronze (AKA Mediterranean) finishes. The ORB/Mediterranean often has a gold undertone peeking through, so if your surrounding colors work with this, it can be an alternative to mix with the gold.

    • Delta Champagne bronze is definitely more muted and less saturated. if close proximity would catch my eye, but with some distance i think could be ok. I would also stick with one finish per "category" - so like do all the towel bar/toilet paper holder/etc in one brand, and then the shower fixtures in another. but i would not mix shower head from one and faucet from another.

Thanks to both! Nataliya - yours is the actual Kingston “brushed brass” correct? The picture by Liz looks great but I don’t think that is actually “brushed brass” (I could be wrong but it looks like kingston “brushed gold”). Kingston makes so many gold shades I think that’s where it is confusing.

My faucet actually is the brushed brass finish. I didn't know Kingston made a brushed gold finish but that made me go back and check my order of both the faucet and the disposal switch. It might be the lighting in my kitchen or your monitor that is making it look warmer.

Thanks, Liz. Maybe it’s the lighting. Another person working with Ferguson brought in another sample of “brushed brass” that looked different than mine so I’m concerned that the company is messing something up 😫 but seriously thank you so much for responding and looking! Beautiful kitchen!

Yup Kingston brushed brass! I paired it with brizo luxe gold faucet and like liz said its not a perfect Match but they complement each other it works well

This thread is exactly what I needed. Delta's is more champagne, Moen is more copper, Kohler is actually brushed brass, but need a brushed brass shower trim for a moen valve. Does anyone think this won't work? Kingston has a universal shower trim in brushed brass.

Kingston makes shower kits that are specifically for Moen vavles. if you get one of those yyou should be fine.

@Liz Patrick Love your kitchen and thanks for showing the differences in detail. On a time crunch with our kids’ bath and trying to decide if i can mix Kingston Brushed Brass faucets (which will go better with our lighting) and Delta Champagne Bronze fixtures in the shower which will be behind a shower curtain. In the pic of your kitchen faucet and disposal button, you called the Delta finish Champagne Gold but you meant Champagne Bronze right? Thanks for your help!

Anyone else use Kingston brushed brass with Kohler shower components in Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass? Im wondering which one is a closer match, Kohler or Delta? I need something thats in stock and ready to ship so i cant wait for Brizo or California Faucets. Im also thinking of mixing the Kingston brushed brass fixtures in the vanity area with their polished brass in the shower behind the shower curtain. They dont have all the shower components we need in the brushed brass in stock. Would love anyone’s feedback..we decided to tack this on to a much more extensive reno and i dont have the luxury of going to showrooms to look for this part of the reno.

@staceycarringto yes, I did mean champagne bronze, not champagne gold. Don't know if you have enough time but Kingston sells a set of all their colors for $2. It's awesome to carry to match finishes, especially since they're not stocked in many places. You can find it here: https://www.kingstonbrass.com/product/kingston-brass-cswatch/ BTW my plumber loved the quality and ease of installation of KB.

Thats great to know..thanks! Thank you for responding. I dont have time to get the swatches but I may order them for next time. If anyone has pictures of their Kingston Brass fixtures.. I would love to see them.

Based on a comment above, I think you could do the Kingston plus Delta and come out with a coordinated look. I faced a similar dilemma in my own bath, not having sink faucets and shower fixtures that I wanted to use in a complete range from any one brand. I ended up with 3 styles that blend well: Delta Champagne Bronze sink faucets, Delta Oil-Rubbed Bronze (ORB) shower handles, and Moen ORB Magnetix showerheads. The gold/bronze highlights that shine through on the ORB fixtures went well with the Delta Champagne Bronze. Also, I had used Moen Magnetix showerheads before and really wanted to repeat them for this renovation, so that was a way to slip them in and have them coordinate.

Hi all..thought I would post what i ended up going with.. We needed something quick as i mentioned so I went with a Pfister shower system and faucets and am pairing that with

Rejuvenation aged brass oval knobs and Richmond pulls. The light fixture is Mitzi and in their aged brass finish. I’m attaching pics, hoping it can help someone else. I went with the Kingston Brass faucet in our guest bath with the Rejuvenation aged brass Larkin pulls. Both faucets and pulls look good together in person and I was so stressed.
