I really prefer grommet curtains. They are just so much easier to open.

I'd really like blackout curtains or at least close to blackout.

I really like the look of more whispy curtains.

So I have found white whispy curtains that have blackout panels and grommets, but I have yet to find any long enough. The longest I have found was 84 inch and we need something closer to 92-95 inch.

What I'm wondering is can I layer white blackout grommet curtains with grommet white whispy curtains on the same rod - the whispy one being the layer that shows? Does this look bad? I'm trying to find a picture to see how it might look and haven't found anything yet.

I've seen the bungie chord method, but I'm thinking the heavier blackout curtains wouldn't work on the bungie chord like the sheer ones would
