Need advice on picking a fabric for Pearce Pottery Barn sectional

I am moving our pill-y worn-looking PB sectional to our basement and am in the process of selecting the fabric for our new one. I am considering a Performance Everydaysuede or velvet OR Textured Twill in charcoal. I do not want a fabric that PILLS! Thank you!! PS - the Pearce is 30% off now.

    Not a Pro.

I am following..... I have a pill-y-worn looking sofa also. Not PB, but none the less horrible fabric.

I am considering the everyday velvet ut would like some people's opinions about their experience with it,

I was reading some threads (on here) last night that were talking a lot about pilling and fabric, which once to choose. I'll see if I can find it, but feel free to poke around to see if you can find it. I think I remembering hearing common complaints about pilling and twill, and hearing some good things about everyday suede.

How do you feel your sofa has held up? I know it's pilling, but otherwise? I'm thinking of getting a Pearce sectional for my family. We're not hard on our furniture, but still spending $4k is a big investment for us.

Are you keeping your wall color? Charcoal seems too dull with what I see in the photo. Can you post actual fabric samples laid out?

We have the Pearce sectional in everyday suede, and no pilling at all. We've had several things spilled on it, and everything cleans up easily. Had it for 5 years. As far as the expense, look for the sales and additional coupons. We actually bought ours as a floor sample and saved even more. Good luck!

I’m thinking of getting the Pearce sectional in Premium Performance Basketweave (in Oatmeal or Pebble). I don’t recall seeing many negative reviews on that fabric but I admit I only read a few hundred comments in this thread. 😂 A rep at PB says she has that fabric and it’s great. Open to hearing any experience folks have with Premium Performance Basketweave.

I have had the Pearce sectional for the past 5 years and it still looks new. No pilling, but some of the back cushions need to be fefluffed to hold their shape. fortunately can replace Cushions for 25-30 dollars at pb! Good luck!

I’ll second that the back cushions need to be fluffed every once in a while & replacements can be ordered online. I haven’t ordered replacements but it’s nice to know it’s available.

Thanks @Ac Lb and @Amy Schrader! Yeah, I don't mind fluffing cushions and replacing them after a while. Our four year old couch (R2G) is literally falling apart so nothing can be as bad as this.

Any experience with the Textured Twill (not performance) or Everyday Velvet for durability? Does the Everyday Velvet have a super formal look?

I have the PB Pearce in the Performance Tweed and it has pilled.
