I’m struggling with rug choices. My mud room/garage entry area is a high traffic area. My husband is going to finish our bench area with cabinets and such! We will paint it to look like a piece of furniture.. but i thinking about a round rug at the entry door mainly because of my vent in the floor and a area in front of the bench. I feel like the room is too wide for just a runner ! What do u guys think? When you come in the door i have the bench /hall tree to right and then a door to party on right with a laundry room door to the left. Walking through a cased opening to living room and kitchen. Everything is changing in this room paint and decore! Thought i would pull a color from the rug for the walls! What about a board and batten wainscoting? I have 9ft ceiling but it is a small room
