This is for the MIL suite. She is healthy, with no physical issues ATM, but we’re trying to set it up for possible future needs.

We’re planning on a 5x5 shower with a grab bar beneath the shower head, one on the side wall from the shower head, and a vertical one at the door (though we disagree on which side of the door should have that vertical grab bar). She doesn’t want a built-in seat, but is planning on having a portable one in the corner between the shower controls and the niche.

Should there be a grab bar anywhere in that corner, or would that be a head injury waiting to happen?
