I cannot figure out what ceiling lights to use in our newly built home

I need ceiling lights for 2 different hallways, and the entryway I wanted something bigger. Every area has 8 ft ceilings. I like modern farmhouse look, looking for things with matte black finish, flush to semi flush mount. I have been looking for hours and hours online, and am really in need of some help. Its taking me too long to decide on ceiling lights.

if we dont see the space we are fishing in a see of nothing and a million lights to choose from.

go to lamps plus and look through some lights.

Thank you, its an 8 foot ceiling there, so I worry about something hanging down too low, or do you think its far enough away from the door to not have anyone bump into it. I like matte black finish fixtures

Just stick to something that is no more than a 12-18 inch drop, you're on the right path with semi flush.
