The space to the left of my front door seems to be missing something. I live in a condo and my neighbors door has two shutters. I live in a Historic District so I need to try and conform with colonial
times. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
A wall-mounted black lantern light could look nice.
I can't find my design dilemma discussions
Should I paint out these ugly garage doors?

Can you paint your door a bright color like yellow, blue or red? That will help draw more attention to your door.
Unfortunately no... historical district. 😐
I like the idea of a black lantern as mentioned above. The old lantern over the door should then be removed. I think a pot containing a tall thin vertical shrub or a tall flowering plant such as a mandevilla would also help fill in the space. The three vertical plants in your window box, I'm sorry to say, just don't look quite right.
I don't think it's missing anything. Agree a light might be nice but if that can't be done I would consider a tall slender potted tree and I would also consider a window box the whole width of the picture window.
I recognize that zipcode we will be missing a great party there this year
This light would look lovely to the left of your door.
If possible, I would remove the shutters on the triple window. They aren't appropriate for the size of the window.
You could also add an address plaque if it's allowed.
