I love the idea of gray, but one that is a bit quieter than the sample you posted. Your cabinets are busy, so go for calm and quiet. What about a backsplash?

Do any of you know if there’s a way to visualize what my kitchen will look like with Corian? They have so many color options but there’s no way for me to actually see what the whole thing would look like.

Hi Barbara, I don’t think that particular gray is a good idea. May we please see images of the entire space that include your floor? Do you have any inspiration images you can share with us? They can be incredibly helpful. Just google images of kitchens with oak cabinets and show us a few that you like. Here are a few I’ve found.

No to gray. It will not play nice with YOUR particular cabinets.

One if the inspiration pictures looks like quarter sewn oak and somehow it kind of works in that situation.

Since you are keeping your cabinets, how about Uba Tuba? It is a very dark green and not an expensive granite.

You can also look at Giallo Ornament in the dark version.

Not many fabricators do Corian now a days. I for one do still like it. Corian also makes quartz.

I don’t have an actual sample, but what do you think of the color Deep Space? Black with specks of dark brown and tans.

Just wanted to post an update: finally got the countertop installed! Decided to go with the gray, which doesn’t look too cold with the warm cabinets. And our car approves!
