Unusual color on Princess Alex of Kent

Mostly the blooms on my 2020 Princess Alexandra of Kent have been catalogue-pink. Very pretty, but the coppery tones on these took my breath away.

Should I expect more blooms in this shade, or is it just a first-year fluke?

i love it either way.

I don’t know, but she’s lovely. Those blooms look very much like my Boscobel. I hope you received the correct rose. Lovely color. What do the blooms smell like? Lisa

My PAoK always changed colors when it heated up--and not for the better. The color was garish coral, and the blooms had way fewer petals. That's why I no longer grow her. Yours is quite beautiful in color. The other problem I had with this rose is she became a huge thug in the flower bed. Every year bigger and more thuggish even though she was pruned. Your rose is not Boscobel. I'm sure it's PAoK. Diane

My PAoK and Boscobel both can go coral, Sylvia, then pink. Then they switch it up on me for fun. I got Boscobel, because PAoK went coral, then Boscobel went coral as PAoK went pink.
