We just bought a house and I would love ideas for painting the trim and siding. For gutters - we will paint the horizontal pieces the same as trim and the downspouts something to blend with the brick. The brick is tricky. I'm not sure what to even call it - reddish brown with orange undertones I guess. The house faces west but has good shade. Even with the shade, I prefer light to mid-tone paints because darker colors will fade fast in our midwestern sun. I gravitate to neutral colors and am thinking about doing the trim in a clean white and the garage door and siding in a greige, taupe or green-gray... but am open to ALL ideas right now!
