Is your problem on the right, or the left?

My DH began having strange pains in his groin right before the COVID hype really kicked in. He tried to go to his Dr., but after waiting for 30 minutes, was informed she had left, but he could wait another 30 - 45 minutes for Dr. X....so, he left. Several days later, he got in to see a PA friend of ours. She ordered an US of his testicles, because the pain was shooting down there. Nothing noted.

She set him up for a CT scan as things were really locking down. Called with the results.....fatty liver(to which I said, “No Way”), diverticulitis (to which I said, “Extremely questionable“), AND a prostate the size of an ostrich egg(pretty sure she meant GOOSE egg....but still!). She referred him to a urologist, who first set up an appointment, then called and said no appointments until April, then July, THEN called last Thursday and said, “Come in Monday”.

The urologist looked over the CT results, and DH told him he really thought he had a hernia, since by now, it felt the same as the one that he had repaired 5 years ago. He drops his pants, and urologist says, “That’s a hernia!!” Checks his prostate, and says that is fine......Now, he has an appointment with the surgeon this week, but the questions remain. WHOSE CT scan did they read? Did someone have unnecessary hernia surgery? What man is running around with NAFL, diverticulitis and a HUGE prostate? Thankfully, that is not my DH.....
