Mercury Glass table lamps?

Is the mercury glass trend still alive? Or out of style? I found two lamps for my bedside tables that I really like, but thought I’d get some feedback from you all. Trying to drag my husband out of Uber conservative and old fashioned decor into something a little more 2020.
