We are building a home with a foyer that is 17.5 feet long and 8.5 feet wide with 11 foot tray ceiling running the same length. We want a runner but wonder if we should save room for an entry mat at the double front doors. Also, we don't know how wide or long the runner should be, whether WITH an entry mat or WITHOUT one.
