Define affordable?

This is my favorite image of honey oak cabinetry. It plays on the green greys and pairs them with orange paint. Orange! It’s gorgeous, I think.

Your neighbor should Google images of honey oak kitchens and save the ones she likes for inspiration for the final look. Almost any material can give the desired look, although for the image below, I’m pretty sure that’s granite.

We only had a few minutes to chat, but she said she probably could not afford granite. I don't know her budget yet either. I am going to suggest to her this site and also Pinterest to get some ideas. She's not a computer person so I wanted to take photos of ideas and show her. I'm not sure what options she can choose from besides a laminate. Maybe a silestone or something comparable would work for her.

Thanks @megs1030. You know, I don’t think they chose the right color for the bs, but I love it anyway. That’s how good it is.
