What kind of glass is in your lamp shade? This is a classic Craftsman style lamp. I suspect that you could sell it online.

Are you sure it's not stained glass? Stained glass will feel & sound like plastic because of the way it's set into the framing. Unless you know for sure that it's plastic then it's probably glass.

It's not outdated. It has a distinctly craftsman look about it that may not mesh with your decor. As stated above, sell or donate it but please don't toss it. It has value.
