Can I save my Alocasia Reticulata Zebrina after stem and root rot?

My alocasia was doing so well until I think I left too much water at the bottom of my cache pot. All the leaves started turning yellow but was pushing out a new leaf. I panicked and repotted it but ruined the healthy roots. Now the stem and new leaf is a little mushy. Is there any way to save it if there are no roots? The bulb is a little firm still and I see a whitish part at the bottom still (2nd picture).

I have it in a little cup with soil on a heating pad with a grow light for now.

I found a baby bulb/corm in the soil so hopefully if this doesn't make it I can grow a new one :(
