Is there a way to hang curtains in my front window?

i live in a very narrow apartment and the front windows sits against the wall on one side and the door frame on the other. If I were to hang curtains where would I mount the curtain rod?

curtains are going to look crowded in that space. I like what you have now. but if you want the look of fabric there, have you considered roman shades? you can even get a top-down style:

I agree that curtains will make the space crowded. I also think curtains will draw attention away from the gorgeous stained glass.

Yes, you could hang them above the molding. But I agree that if you get panels wide enough to fit the window correctly, you 're going to block a lot of the light coming in the window. The only thing I would consider hanging would be some very light colored sheers.
