Im curious to know how well the floor-to-wall seam holds up over time.

The solid surface seams in my shower in Michigan have been in use for over a decade. I haven't gotten a callback from the folks who bought the home, so I assume they're as good as the day they went in.

This is why you hang the panels on French cleats. The cleats are the same thickness as the seam supports. A supported solid surface seam is stronger than the material itself.
