Try painting it. There are a ton of 'how to' videos out there. Here is one

You could do some drapery - hung high and long (sheers) to give a more spa like appeal.

Then a picture over the wall so you see it when looking at the tub. I would remove the towel bar.

Paint the walls the color of the tile. Good luck!

It’s neutral and to me not offensive. I think pairing it with gray wasnt the best choice.

I agree with Wildcat. Use the tile color for the walls.

What does the rest of your space look like?

The fact that it’s not all tiled is not horrible. I don’t think anyone would even notice that if you didn’t bring it up.

Leave the tile and paint the walls instead. Maybe an earthy beige color just slightly lighter than the tile. It doesn't appear you have a shower so hang a tasteful piece of art above the tub.
