Hi all, going through the final stages of my kitchen design and the designer set the wall cabinet to island cabinet spacing at 54”. I was told that with countertop overhang it will be 51-52”. That seems like a big space, but I’m curious if the 36-48” standard is measured from countertop to countertop or from the cabinets?
