The ivory of the cabinets. Match it! Note, that plantation shutters in combination with a covered porch , are cutting over sixty percent of daylight. If you want more light? No matter how nice plantation is? that's part of the answer.

Your lighting is very yellow. Perhaps update fixtures or at least shades on chandelier before painting?

You are painting the whole kitchen, living and dining as they seem to be the same color? A pale version of the cabinet color is my vote and the trim just a creamier white to blend. And for sure change out lightbulbs first.

I love the calm feeling of your rooms. The comments you’ve received should help you immensely. As an aside, what jumped to my attention, that I’d want to change, are the double doors beside the table. So they aren’t so prominent I would paint the door frame the same color as the walls and keep an eye out for more interesting doors or way to close that space.

Where would you stop the color if you aren’t including the other visible areas? Agree with Jan to match the cabinets. Include the double doors in that color scheme.

White ....to match the trim...there are so many things going on ...with window details..trim...cabinetry..backsplash..wall units ....stone fireplace...i dont think you need to add to that with more little strips of color....

The double doors can then be white also...confining the creamier color to the kitchen...
